Shock and Amazement
Whoa... it actually worked!!! That's a first... maybe it is my computer at work that was messing things up!

About Erin
As the first informational entry in this blog, I thought that I should tell all my non-existent readers a little about myself.
Writing is my passion. I love to write anything and everything. I have completed two novels, one good enough to be in revision mode for eventual submission to agents or publishing houses or somesuch. However, I also love writing short stories, nonfiction, and the occasional poetry.
I am a copy editor by trade. I make my living correcting other people’s grammar. However, I also fully believe in the saying that “a girl who copy edits for herself has a fool for a client.” (Sure, I adapted that a little but, so sue me!)
My extracurricular activities include studying for my Master’s degree, reading, writing, watching movies, and watching my favorite shows on television.
Favorites
TV Show: Only Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel since the evil FOX network cancelled the best show of 2002, Firefly
Books: Little Women, anything by Tamora Pierce (though especially The Song of the Lioness quartet, The Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin, and Anne McCaffery’s Pern series
Movies: Almost Famous (one of the best journalism movies ever made), When Harry Met Sally, and While You Were Sleeping
Music: Mix CDs that include both old and new favorites -- I enjoy anything from country to rock with an edge and many things in between
Online Activities: emailing or AIMing with friends who live far away, RPGing (AlienVamp, City of Angel, and SunnydaleSmallville, most notably), chatting with the gang at the Coffeeshop Forum, working on the fanfic saga I write with my sister (Destiny Lost), occasional surfing, and now blogging
Most Important People in My Life: My husband, my sister, and my mother
